Account
Delete your account
You can delete your Grove Network account yourself, at any time, from inside the app. There's no waiting period and you don't need to contact us first.
How to delete your account in the app
Deletion is self-service, in Settings — this page just explains what happens when you do it.
-
Sign in to Grove Network on the web or in the iOS or Android app.
-
Open Settings from the navigation menu, and scroll to Delete account at the bottom of the page.
-
Confirm with your password. Choose Delete account, enter your password, then choose Delete my account permanently.
You're signed out immediately and the deletion is permanent — it can't be undone, and the same email address can be used to create a new account afterwards.
The details
What's deleted, what changes, and what's retained
Deleted immediately
- Your profile: name, email, password, photo, company details and logo, bio, LinkedIn URL, phone number, service area, and your profession/industry tags
- Your Grove memberships, Needs you posted, 1-1s you logged, Introductions you made or were part of, and Vouches you gave or received
- Events you created (and their RSVPs), your own event RSVPs, and your match decisions
- Referrals naming you as the provider, any blocks you created, and your sign-in tokens
- Your membership subscription is cancelled at Stripe first, so you aren't billed again
Changed, not deleted
- Referrals you requested stay in place for the other member involved, with your identity removed — the record still means something to them
- If you were a Grove's only organizer, the longest-tenured remaining member becomes organizer so it keeps running; if you were its only member, the Grove is deleted with your account
Retained, and why
- Moderation reports involving your account are kept so we can act on repeated abuse, but your identity is removed from them first.
- Billing records held by Stripe (invoices, payment history) are retained by Stripe under its own policy, because tax and accounting law requires it — we never hold your card details ourselves.
- Residual copies may persist briefly in routine encrypted database backups until those are cycled out.
If you can't sign in
If you've lost access to your account and can't complete the steps above, email dev@codedatda.casa from the address associated with your account and we'll verify the request and delete it for you.
